If you find your mobility is limited or restricted for any reason, the basic function of turning over in bed could be very difficult for you, maybe even painful. The main reason is because it’s taking a lot of effort to do something that used to be easy and we took for granted.
Those with Parkinson’s disease, or similar mobility limiting conditions often find turning over and getting in and out of bed on normal cotton sheets really difficult, because of the friction they cause.
The Wonder Sheet has satin in the middle, which sits under your shoulders, back and hips enabling users to slide their hips on the satin with less effort and without waking up all the time.
This easy slide capability can help anyone, of any age, including the young, with any type of mobility issue. Even a carer, who cares for their partner or child will benefit from the ‘Wonder Sheet’.
The Wonder Sheet® +PLUS was designed for those wanting the additional stability and grip from the cotton/poly sheeting on the edge of the bed which can now give you the leverage to feel more independent.

The satin panel, which is 90cm long and 17cm away from each side, sits under your shoulders, back and hips and allows you to slide and pivot your hips over more easily without having to lift them. It’s also particularly helpful when getting in and out of bed because when you’re on the edge of the bed you have the sheeting under your bottom for extra grip and stability.
This unique design creatively combines ‘Glossy Charmeuse’ satin and a 50/50 blend cotton/polyester fabric. The sheeting is a higher quality grade sheeting.
It can be laundered commercially which means it can be machine washed up to 71 degrees Celsius and is in line with and meets the AS/NZS4146:2000 Laundry Practice Guidelines. These guidelines need to be met in all Aged Care Facilities.

Please Note: The 35cm depths are suitable for mattresses up to 30cm. The 45cm depths are suitable for mattresses between 30cm and 40 cm deep.
